We use high end products to get the dogs as clean and well groomed as possible. We also believe in fear free grooming and using positive energy to help calm down the dogs that come across our table. We believe that this makes for a better service and helps us with gaining the trust of the dog. We take what we do very seriously and only want the best for your pets.

About Golden Dog
Meet Your Groomer!
Sydney's love for animals started at a very young age. This led her to taking classes in Equine and Canine anatomy. Sydney Has over 7 years of experience in the Dog industry starting in Doggy daycare where she was introduced to basic baths sparking her love for grooming. From there She worked as a dog bather and went on to attend The Whole Pet Grooming Academy and studied under Lory Belanger, and Chrissy Neumyer- Smith. She graduated with diplomas in Salon Safety & Sanitation, Animal Nutrition, Pet Cosmology, and Canine Skin and Coat Therapy. Sydney ended the program with a Diploma in Canine Styling. Sydney completed an intense Internship through the school that expanded her experience. Sydney’s Family has always had Golden Retrievers and is carrying on the tradition with the newest addition Georgie. Her love for the playful, silly, and mellow personality of a Golden is what made her name the Salon Golden Dog Grooming. The sudden loss of the family’s beloved Golden Dylan is who inspired the dog on the logo we all see and love.

Vaccination policy
Owners must provide proof of rabies 24hrs prior to their pets appointment. We will accept a two week grace period of expiration.
Cancellation
To cancel or reschedule, please call or text 24 hours a head of time. If you fail to do so it will result in a 50% fee of what your total groom will cost. Failure to do this more than three times would result in a full deposit for future services. We only allow one emergency and will charge accordingly based on the case
Matting
Dogs with heavily matted coats take extra time and need more care and attention. Golden Dog's dematting fees will be applied based on the severity of matting, and how long the actual dematting takes. In some cases, we see that shaving is the best option. In the event that we need to shave your dog, a dematting fee will be add to the service. NOTE: Shaving matting is not a punishment, it's for the health and safety of the pet.
